A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, she rose through technical and commercial roles — eventually becoming President of Hydrostatics at Danfoss Power Solutions and later leading Danfoss’s Developing Regions. Today she serves as CEO and Chair of the Board at Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce – Minnesota (SACC-MN), guiding transatlantic business collaborations and supporting global-local connectivity. With deep technical acumen, cross-cultural fluency (speaking multiple languages), and a proven track record of scaling global capability centers, Astrid brings a rare mix of systems thinking and human- centered leadership.
