Anupal brings in the practitioners’ on-the-job experience of both successful and failed HR transformation implementations in Tech, Engineering and Media companies, as well as in both product and services environments, over the last 25 years.
He most recently served as the Chief People Officer of FSS, aDigital Payments Company, reporting in to the CEO and working closely with promoters and the Board. Prior to FSS, Anupal was the CHRO and Company Ethics Counsellor at Tata Technologies. He
also oversaw the Global IT and Facilities function at TTL. Earlier at Viacom18, as the SVP of HR, he headed corporate HR functions. He has also held leadership positions at global technology companies such as Infosys and Capgemini, spending time in India,
US and Mexico.
Anupal has served on the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIIT), Ranchi and was a part of the Global Executive Council of Workplace from Meta. Anupal has co-founded a start-up in the space of mental well-being and has been an investor in causes that he is passionate about.
By education, Anupal is a Mechanical Engineer and completed his Advanced HR program from University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
